We’re super lucky to have Lalitha Nataraj contributing regular posts from a librarian’s perspective here on KidLit Network. Lalitha is a youth services and community college librarian in Southern California, who started her fantastic blog, Masala Reader, to discuss multicultural literature for children and young adults. She’s active in ALA and has served on committees such as YALSA’s Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers and ALA Feminist Task Force’s Amelia Bloomer Project. She also reviews middle grade and young adult books, as well as apps for School Library Journal.
